Is it just me or has this week flown by? I can tell people have been praying specifically for us since our last post. As I said on facebook, God has given us Mary Poppins bags. We have been amazed at what we've fit in so far (thank you again to St. Mary's Hospital for their incredibly generous donations!) There is still more we'd like to get in, but we're pleased with how it has gone.
We owe thank yous to so many people. For the encouragement, the prayers, the playdate offers for the kids (and extra less interrupted work-times for me), the help sorting and packing, the financial donations, and so much more. We are so blessed.
I wanted to share a few more specific prayer requests (there will be more to come):
* For continued focus on our Provider
* David - he is fighting some kind of allergy/sinus crud, exhaustion, and he has a lot he still wants/needs to get through
* Dr. Kelly and the staff at the office. Dr. Kelly and 2 of the nurses are expecting. Lisa and Jennifer will have their babies while we are gone and Dr. Kelly is due in November.
* Completion of packing and tying up loose ends here.
* Pray the medical supplies will not be damaged in transit
* Our Parents and Family - My sister, Deedee, will head to Liberia, Africa 13 days after us for a 15-day medical mission trip
* Our friends, Barry and Mike, will also be traveling to Kenya (9/17-9/27) with a surgical team to serve at another mission hospital (Tenwek) 3 hours away from us
* We'll stop there and add more later :)

I am in awe of your journey and pray that the entire family stays safe and well. I know that your presence will bless so many and make dramatic changes to their lives, as well as your lives.
Wishing you fair winds and following seas! I know you aren't sailing but that's the only travel blessing I know!
We are also praying for you all. I am so excited for you and about all that God is going to do in and through your family as you take this adventure with Him!
We will be praying for you. Michael is getting his stuff ready but not nearly as detailed as you with being gone 4 times as long. Thanks so much for adding them to your prayer list. Can't wait to hear all that is going on for you.
